A primary care physician, or PCP, is a physician/medical doctor who provides both the first contact for a person with an undiagnosed health concern as well as continuing care of varied medical conditions, not limited by cause, organ system, or diagnosis.

One of the most respected and essential medical specialties practiced today is internal medicine. An internist must be skilled in diagnosing internal disorders including heart diseases, respiratory conditions, diabetes, cancer, thyroid disease, high blood pressure and many other conditions. Using knowledge together with test results, we are able to determine the nature of the problem. As a fully trained in internal medicine, it is important to keep up with current medical research and breakthroughs in the areas of diagnosis and treatment.

To Better Serve The Needs Of The Patient
If the treatment required for a cure or to relieve symptoms is nonsurgical, the doctor will prescribe appropriate medication, therapeutic treatments, diet and/or activity programs. When necessary, we will refer a patient to a surgeon or to another specialist. The patient’s well–being is always our primary concern.
